Good Deal on 3rd. YES, NO???

I'm talking to this guy on another board about buying his ARB 3rd member. It's a 4cly 3rd w/ 5.29s and an ARB, only a year old and he just had it rebuilt for the sale. He wants $650 for it and it's $40 bucks to ship it from Washington State. Let me know if this sounds like a good deal or not, it sounds kick ass to me but I wanna know what you guys think, 4ROC has never given me bad advice yet.

lets break it down:

ARB locker - $650
5.29 gears - $200
install - $250
TOTAL - $1050
his price - $650
DIFFERENCE - $350
sell your 3rd - $150 ????
so you save about $500

no brainer IMO!

It's for the rear, I might true trac or Detroit the front down the road. I know it's pretty much a dno brainer, I guess I just needed someone to back me up . With the 22RE there's no other option other than 5.29s (4.88s make no difference) and I'm really trying to run 35s.

Okay here's the deal,

"Make it $620 and you got a deal

No air lines (they are still on the rig for the new rear pro rock 60).

But I can toss is a think of the nylon air line, but has no ends.. "

That is from his PM to me this afternoon. So $660 and I'll have an ARB to my door($40 shipping). No air lines, and no switch, so what would that cost me to get my hands on? Then all I would need is a compressor.

$20 or so for a good switch...a couple of compression fittings and crush sleeves will set you back about $5 or so... $139 for the ARB compressor... $300 for an Outback Extreme Aire like mine... Free to install if you come to Cary and get Jeremy and I some beers.

You got it man, I'll be sending him a check tomarrow, Jason if you can help me in getting the parts I need and helping me get a deal on a compressor? The beer is on me.

I just needed to know I had ppl. that could help and make this thing actually happen. Can I drive with the 5.29s on 31s for the time being and still have stock gears up front as long as I don't lock the hubs, or will there be problems and I should wait until I can afford new front gears too?
