alternatorsx2 in hilux ln110 modell

I have problems with my original alternator in my hilux 4wd diesel yearmodell-89 it has the separate regulator for the charging.
Now i have been thinking of intalling a second alternator with built in regulator and will keep the original alternator to run the wacuum pump.
I do not want the original to produce anu current to the system1
I have read that the charging and much other things are connectid through the regulator.
The question is how can it be done. Can I keep all the connections in alternator and regulator and take off the brushes from alternator or shorten them so that they do not touch as happens when they worn out.
There is room for one alternator and als one place empty on pulley on crankshaft end.
Many have put one alternator extra and both produce current but I want to get rid of charging from original .
Please write and tell if it is possible and also picture of installed doubble alternators is wanted

Just don`t install any of the plugs going into the voltage regulator .

That way the vacuum pump will still run but the alternator will not produce output.

Then you will just need to wire the harness for the charging alternator into your vehicle .

Seems like quite a lot of work for really no gain and putting more drain on the engine spinning a alternator just to drive your vacuum pump
