interchangeable parts between 1st and 2nd Gen 4runners?

Hi all. I'm in the process of fixing up my 85.5 4runner (IFS, 22RE) and I ran across a 92 4runner with a 3.0 that has a blown head, besides that it has lots of good accessories and parts. They're looking to sell it off cheap and although i have no interest in fixing it up, I'm wondering if it's worth buying as a parts truck to replace certain pieces on my 1st gen. The parts I'm most interested in (and hoping are interchangeable) are:

front and rear bumpers
front and rear seats
the interior center console looks similar..
any suspension pieces interchangeable?
anything else?

Thanks for the info guys. Oh and yes the 92 is a 4wd and manual same as my 85.

instrument clusters as well! rear windows, ummm rims, brakes (master cyl should be a nice upgrade)

the cv's may be better from the 92 but unlikely, t-bars were weaker in 92 if i remember (they stepped down the thickness throughout the IFS gens, with 1st gen being the greatest)

cooling wise the e-fan setup may work with a couple mods. are they both auto/manny? if both are manny you can run a dual tcase!

Yup they're both manuals. So I'm pretty sure the bumpers are interchangeable right? (my 85 doesn't have any). Also do you happen to know if the front/rear seats are?

I can't say anything about the rest of the stuff as I have no idea which is why I posted but the ARB bumpers say they fit 86-95 trucks so i figured the same applied to the 4runners and that that must mean they have the same mounting points? This truck has a nice custom front bumper and I'm guessing the stock rear one so i was hoping to get those as well as a nice set of tires off of it. If the front and rear seats could work in the 85 then that would be great as my rear seat is trashed. the rest of the stuff I was thinking would be nice to pick and choose whatever fits that's in better condition than what's on my 85 but I don't want to buy a whole truck for a bumper and some tires. If enough things are interchangeable it'd be worth it though.

I know that the stock bumpers are totally different shapes.
They might well have the same mounting dimensions, IDK.
They would not look right interchanged, for sure.

The maker of the aftermarket bumpers could answer anything about what they made.

I am certain that the instrument clusters and rear window are not the same between first and 2nd gen 4Runners. The t. cases would be the same if both trucks were 22r types, but the V-6 case is different and will not interchange. Same for the V-6 manual tranny. No go on a 4 cyl.

I recall hearing that the 2nd gen rear seat might be used on a first gen Runner after some mods to the mountings. I can't say it's true from any personal experience though.

the one piece (2-piece top and bottom) aftermarket 2nd gen bumper fits, and looks 300x better. i can't stand that 3-piece top section. the rear bumper is the same on the gen 2 as the gen 3 4runners. seats: well, i think i have subaru seats in my 86, maybe acura, but i bet newer 4runnerseats would bolt in better and have many options. the seats in my 90 are quite comfy and adjustable many ways. i'll try to snag a pic of gen 2 front bumper on my 86...... bolted right up... but i warn you it's a tarmac scraper....
