Greetings! Got done climbing Mt. Sneffels in SW Colorado and upon my return to my pickup i used a bit too much mustard and broke the handle which opens the tailgate. This handle sometimes gets a bit stuck but has never given me an issue....until i snapped it off. The handle is still attached but is just wobbling around. Fortunately, the tailgate is closed so nothing is falling out. Unfortunately, all my belongings are located in some drawers that the tailgate is blocking. Could anyone lend a hand and tell me how I could get into the tailgate and fix the handle? Thanks in advance!

 

on the inside of the gate is a access panel , I believe there are 12 screws holding it on , you can simply remove the access panel , and pull the rods attached to the handle on the inside
