working on my daughters truck
95 tacoma 4x4 automatic 2.7l 4 cyl, 260000 miles
she had water in the oil pan, head gasket blown
got the "all data" followed the steps tore it down and put it back together
now it wont start, engine cranks when foot is NOT on brake pedal, no crank when foot on pedal, shift interlock engaged preventing gear change
what did i do wrong? something obvious??
any help or advice welcome

 

You changed the head Gasket ??

Now the safety circuit is messed up??

Along with it not starting??

Pinched wires ??

Things hooked up wrong or not at all .

Yes I did the work.
My first head gasket. Step by step per the "all data" guide.
What is a safety circuit?
Can't find any connectors I misses, going along loom to look for brake on wires or insulation, lot of wires to check
Any thing else I can do?
