Exhaust gurgle
For the past couple of months I've been working out a set of bugs on my 86 22RE 4Runner. It got to the point I turned it over to a few mechanics because I ran out of time.
Long story short, they've been tweaking my AFM as part of the remedy -- one of the issues was mixture and rough idle. The idle is now good, but I now notice that when I let off the gas above 2500 rpm, I get some light gurgle in the exhaust. The motor has an LC header and a walker muffler (non-hi po).
My question is, I know that the gurgle is the result of it going rich, but when should I be concerned? Is a little gurgle ok or should I be aiming for no gurgle at all?
