Vacuum line replacement, silicone or oem?

I'm leaning towards the kit from lcengineering but wanted to make sure there's not a big difference going away from oem

Don't overthink it. Local part store vacuum hose works great.

I agree. Hose is hose; even OEM hose is just sold by the foot. If you really want the custom look, you can use a white paint-pen to replicate the factory labeling.

Buy a couple rolls of the different size vacuum hose you will be good to go.

Silicone hose I think is overkill for vacuum lines

Then if you want to spend the extra money go for it.

Silicone won't dry rot on you, but then rubber won't dry rot on you for another decade anyway. It is one way to get a color pop under the hood I spose. What's the cost difference? I stick to rubber.

Never tried the silicone and if you can get it in different colors guess you could use it for easier memory aid for proper connection or dressing up the engine bay. I see so many of these trucks running the orginal hose and still working great. I just grab 3 or 4 foot of part store vacuum line and change it out when I do and no problems.
