First things first the shocks were shot and didn't like the bouncy ride so I ordered up some rancho rs5000s which I love. Also ordered a new monroe steering damper for the bigger tires I will soon be getting. And a lot of other misc stuff like lift supports for the camper shell glass, installed a light in the camper shell (haven't wired it up yet), and ordered a new fuel filter which I am dreading replacing.

I think the 89-95 two wheel drive trucks was a big improvement over the previous years as far as ride quality. Two wheel trucks are much easier to work on in my opinion. Great looking truck you have. Welcome to Yotatech.

Thx for the welcome, ok so update gonna be ordering tires and rims next Tuesday 30x9.50 General grabber At2s and pro comp black steel wheels, going to attempt the install of the fuel filter today after school.
Does anyone know if I'll need a lift for those size tires or can I get away without it?

Update on the truck, drove down to the salvage yard today and picked up some parts of an SR5 runner visors, clock, gauge cluster, and speakers. I also received my procomp add-a-leafs, trail gear steel brake line and 5" shackles. took me about 4 hours to install it all and having the lift spindles installed tomorrow will update tomorrow. I also have an SR5 gauge cluster for sale if anyone is interested.

Eagerly awaiting your update. Would really like to see how the tires and front/rear lift turned out. Get some good pics! I'd be interested in the SR5 Gauge Cluster if it the front plastic cover is NOT broken or cracked. I just opened up the second one I got sent to me and it's broken!!! I can't win!

Where did you get the lift spindles? I've been looking forever and it seems no one makes them anymore.

Your truck looks great so far. I wish mine was white. Keep up the good work.

Your tires will clear. I went with 15 in Ford rims on my two wheel drive and did not have any issues. On my 88 runner build below on the first page, if the lense is cracked, I show how to use a non SR5 guage lense to fix it. Basically you sjust dril out the tripometer needle hole. You got your truck looking great.

The truck drives and handles great,Its a blast driving it around. my engine is completely stock and handles the larger tires very well, its a 22RE. I went to pick and pull to get fenders and ended up getting 4X4 fenders off a 4Runner because i was and still am rubbing pretty bad.

well, dang time has flown by and heres a little update on the truck, The stock plastic guides for the timing chain broke so i took apart the top end and did a full top end rebuild. I've also gone on a few camping trips to the desert with some friends and i love this little truck hasn't been stuck once, and i now know what upgrades i want to do. Heres a short list.

Roof Rack with Halogen spots in front and led pods around the perimeter
LCE High output alternator
trail gear rear bumper
onboard air
LCengineering RV cam, Header, Bored throttle body and 4 hole injectors
2.25" exhaust system to a magnaflow muffler
POWER STEERING!!
Sliders
also bringing back the idea of a 4x4 swap I'd like to do a 4 link with fox coilovers and a diamond axle with a Marlin crawl box.
Also need a couple little things here and there sr5 oil pressure sender [done], marker lights [done], convert all the lights to leds, Trucklite Headlights, CB radio [Done]and a new radio head unit[Done]

anyway here are some pictures from our recent camping excursion to salton sea.

Well its been a while time for another small update. So first of all my clutch started to slip really bad so i ordered a new aisin clutch kit,new flywheel and a new master and slave cylinder and got all that installed in about 2 nights. secondly I found a bumper on craigslist for $70 so i went and picked it up. I also cranked my torsion bars to get rid of the rubbing in the front and to also give me a stiffer ride. Also got new 4x4 marker lights off ebay. So do you guys think i should paint the chrome black or leave it as is? let me know.

Dash speakers out of a junkyard 4Runner
Bilstein shocks out of a 99 suburban
CB & Antenna mount
oil pressure sender
That's all for now.
