Disc brake conversion and driveline ebrake?
Hey guys, ive got an '86 xcab that im rebuilding and am wanting to do rear disc brakes. The truck is going to be a daily driver and will need a functioning parking brake to pass state inspection, the truck is going to be a 5spd.
Have any of you all had much success with the driveline ebrake setup? Does it work sufficiently for a dd, or is more-so just a formality to pass inspection?
Thank you for your input. Im new to toyota's but not new to building 4x4's.

First thing to do is to see if it would be legal in the state your getting it inspected.
While these for the most work excellent if adjusted correct.
The down side is break anything in the drive train (allowing the wheels to turn) unless your transfer case is in 4 WD with hubs locked when it happens the brake does not help.
