Is your v6 a manual or an auto? Why do you want to put a 4cyl case in?

Yes, it's bolt on with a v6 adapter. You'll need to get a different console depending on what model/year you have. You didn't say. We're assuming you're wanting to gear your case or go double someday?

Unless you're gonna gear 4.7s or double them, just stick with chain drive. It's be strong enough for most things. Like I said earlier, and was said just above again you need an adapter to bolt one on.
