My truck was running fine the day before. Then the next day it wouldn't start and I thought that I flooded the engine because I could smell gas so I decided to try again the next day. When I tried to start it the next day, the battery was dead, even the dome light didn't work. I replaced the battery with a brand new one and still the truck wouldn't start and to make things worst, the new battery was dead the next day. I checked that everything was off so I know that there must be a short that is draining the battery and also preventing the truck from starting. Can anyone with a similar problem or knowledge please help me??

Being that this was posted a month ago I'm glad that my problem is not one anyone else has experienced at yotatech forum. That tells me that my 89 4x4 v6 is more durable than I thought. Lucky for me I'm getting help from knowledgeable people from toyotanation forum. I really appreciate their time and effort trying to help me with my problem.
