I notice one of my vacuum lines/tube had a crack in it. I figured no big deal...I'll just pick one up at Toyota. No luck. Nobody has this blessed part. It is the tube that connects from the valve cover to the EFI unit. My 93 22re truck has a different tube then my 85 4runner so at some point they changed parts. I was told it was this part number: top hose--12262-35010 or 12262-35020. I ordered 12262-35010 thinking I had the correct one but after I received it from Amazon (the only place I could find this part) I was dismayed to find that it is totally the wrong part. Could it be 12262-35020? I failed to find any diagram with part numbers online. In any case, the tube/line I am looking for is here:
Forget A parts yard these hoses are old. Go to a local parts store with both ends of the hose and find the one hose size that fits closest. Buy two screw clamps and put it on cut to length and use the screw clamps to make sure it doesn't fall off. Out side of that you are simply out of luck.
Also they are not required to stock parts for anything over ten years old, so we are lucky we can still get some parts "over the counter".
I have found 22RE Performance has some crankcase vent hoses. I believe the hose you are looking for is listed as "Vent hose (front of valve cover to throttle body) 1984-1988" about halfway down the page.
Thanks everyone who helped with this. I found the tube through 22performance. Their price was reasonable and included the original clips which I didn't need but good to have. They even expedited shipping. This is the first time dealing with them and I am pleased. I hope this helps someone else looking for the same part.
Oh, I'm sure the dealer would have gladly sold me one if they could. they said there were literally none of these tubes at any dealership in the Continental US. I had a hard time finding the part based on the part # myself. Apparently the tube for the 85 is no longer being made and it is different than the one in my 93....completely non-interchangable
