Rear window still slow

Hi fellas, just replaced all four relays in accordance with Matt16's thread. Got it all buttoned back up and the window is still as slow as it is before. Now i will admit, i did not grease the tracks, but i feel like the motor should at least do a little better than it did before. I jumped 12v to the motor, as expected the motor works just fine. Could someone point me in the direction i should be looking? i feel like the motor is not getting full 12v, but i'm not sure where i am getting voltage drop... I'd sure appreciate any and all help. Thanks.

try testing for voltage drop right before the motor or as close as you can, if everything is good you should get pretty close to 12v but the relays might have some voltage drop across them I don't remember for sure.

I haven't looked at the mentioned thread but accessories like that tax the power circuit pretty good. You might try adding newer, larger diameter chassis grounds out of tinned boat cables and connectors. I don't have any accessories other than cruise control and I'm probably going that direction because I don't like my stuff being underpowered for any reason. When my heater or wipers run a little slow it's either time to do some maintenance or upgrading.

You have a brand new Motor and New Regulator as well??

Pray tell why did you not lube it like you should ??

I have seen just lubing make a working window out of one that would not move.

Dry regulators increase resistance making the motor work much harder. hence slower if at all.

Lube it before you take anything else apart. It's the easiest thing I. Your troubleshooting process at this point. Pretty much fixed my "dying" Chevy passenger window. Runs like new again. Thought I was going to have to replace it before lube.
