Let me try to make sense of this....

You swapped your cluster out with a new one that had an oil pressure gauge instead of just a light, yeah?

It was working fine, then just up and quit, yeah?

Did the gauge slowly go to zero or was it like it instantly lost power and went to zero?

Check all fuses and connections.

You need to change the oil pressure switch too. There's one for an oil light and a different one for a gauge.

I'm told (on this site) that using the old oil pressure switch (for the oil pressure light) with the gauge will damage the gauge. You have to change the switch for a sensor before you apply power.

Check your oil. Check actual oil pressure with a manual oil pressure gauge.

When you turn the key to "on," the oil pressure gauge should read zero (because there is no oil pressure when the engine is not running). When you start the engine, the gauge should rise smoothly to somewhere near 1/2 way.

So the gauge goes up, then as the engine gets hot the gauge goes down?

I told him to check all wires and connectors. From his grammer and name it seems like he is translating from Hebrew.

If it worked fine and then suddenly quit I would recheck all the work you did. Double check to make sure there are no loose/damaged connections, connections that came off, or any damaged wires. Was the sensor you put on new or used? If used I would consider it suspect. I would also verify it is the correct one. There is probably a way to cause the gauge to peg out both ways to verify its operation. Some of the other guys may know how.
