What to look for?? 2001 3.0, 4x4 5sp tocoma
I'm possibly purchasing a 2001 Tacoma V6, 5 speed manual trans, 4x4, 157K miles. I have a 1987 4x4 I'll probably sell so I'm familiar with the older pickups. Anything I should look out for besides the ordinary in the 2001? The frame on the 2001 was replaced by Toyota. Not sure if the timing belt was ever done, but I can do that myself. Any other issue with this truck I should keep my eye out for. Thanks!!

Why anyone would put a 3.0 in a Tacoma I would love to know.
About like buying a horse just look over the whole truck/.
Start at the Feet and work up is what I do.
Make sure 4 High and 4 Low work with no strange noises.
Look for wire nuts always a good sign.
Emergency Brake works.
We are all different I go for mechanical some people look at the carpet.
I am still trying to get a vehicle with only 3 different color body parts.
