Auto to Manual 4X4 wiring Questions 2nd gen

Hello YT! Ive been having a bit of a challenge after doing a 5spd swap on my 91 4runner. Ive read the only good write-up i could find online and to no avail. I cannot get this damn thing to go into 4x4 and show an indicator light in the cluster. Ive wired it up the way its told online but still no success. white blk with white blk and green white with pink green. the 6 pin connector that is blue. ive also tried white blk with whit blk and green white with green white. I have vacuum at the diff... im stumped. what wires do i need to wire up to get the indicator llight and 4x4 working? these wire colors seem weird as i cannot find a pair of the same colors at the solenoids on the fender-well
Please.... ugh! TIA

Just what year are you working on??

Then did your new transmission and transfer case come out of the same year.

Perhaps you just made a poor connection that is keeping it from working.

I Have a 91 runner. got the trans from a 91 t100. can anyone tell me which switch on the fender it is. can i just wire it directly to that? I find it odd that i have vacuum at the diff. I really dont wanna bolt on manual hubs but i gotta get this going today anyone have any ideas?

From a quick look at my 92 EWD the pins for the 4wd are different between auto and manual ecu`s

Yours could be different !!!

These are the 2 EWDs you'll need (both for a 91 4Runner). Look at them, study them and figure out what wiring needs to change for your setup to work.
