4th Gen, rear light mod, feasibility ?!?

While washing my truck the other day, I was thinking about what Woody said about his Hilux Surf having the rear fog/alert lights where our reflectors are located in the bumper.
I saw no way to remove them, readily (I break stuff, so I try not to mess around with things) btu I swear there is a space behind those reflectors.

Does anyone think it would be do able to mount some lights in/behind the glass(plastic ?) Maybe get some of the micro (eyeball) type lamps, drill out a big enough hole, and then epoxy the lamp into the drilled out hole. Or perhaps get someone to fabricate a something...

Am I like, waaayyy off base ?

Here is the Write Up its easy to do. Just make sure you get a good one inch drill bit. Also take your time, the light housing is very easily broken.

Cool, but I meant white lights... Using those little eye fog lamps you see all over the place and drilling a hole through the plate... You could either tap into the reverse lights or have a switch on the dash ( I want that dash route.)

But, now I know it's do able... Thanks guys.
