How about some history.

How long has this been running good??

Mileage ??

Just what you have done so far in the way of maintenance ??

Just how are you testing for spark??

Just because you smell fuel does not mean it is where it should be.

Just under what conditions did it quit on your buddy??

Pull the throttle body to air cleaner tube thingy and spray a little ether in the tb. A little. If it tries to run it is fuel related. Is it throwing a cel. Pull the codes. Check the Fuses for EFI, and Fuel pump. Check fuel pressure.

(the SST can be replaced with a paperclip)

Feel free to look around this site a bit first. You'll learn a lot (like how to read codes) just from looking at various question/responses.
