Full fluid change '99 4 runner V6
Helping a buddy out and I am doing a full fluid change on his 99 4runner v6 auto with 200,000 miles. It's a cream puff, garage kept, paint is mint and so is the interior.
I'm new to the world of the yota (but I am so impressed by them, wife just got a 97 4runner).
Coolant flush- what kind is needed and what is the capacity?
Oil Change- what kind, how much and what filter is everyone using?
Transmission- What kind, how much and does it have a filter? Will I need a pan gasket? Crush washer? How easy is this job, do I have to drop the exhaust?
Transfer case- what kind and how much fluid? Crush washers replaced? Where is the fill plug?
Differentials- What kind, how much, do I remove the pumpkin covers?
Torque specs on the fill and drain plugs?
I am sort of hoping there is an online site with all this stuff. May be asking a bit much but I come from the land of the TJ jeep and there is a bunch of this info online.
Thank you guys!!
