Hello, new member Dan. Can't seem find a part for a 13.5 gallon tank
Hello,
I I am having trouble locating the right parts for my '94 base 2WD 22re/W55/rn80 with CA smog package. I need the fuel tank pump bracket and sender. I ordered the parts from the dealer by the exact VIN and they do not fit. I tried to search this forum and every other truck has a 17.5 gallon tank. Or so it seems. I will call tomorrow to return the unused stuff.
The truck has not been in the road since '07. The old tank is trashed for rusting. I got a new one from RockAuto.
The Part #'s they gave me are 23206-35240 and 83320-80175. What do these actually fit? I have been searching the web for more details about this and can not find a exact answer about how many 2WD varieties were build.
Maybe I am doing something wrong? Has anyone else heard of something like this?

Is this correct your original tank was no longer fit for use .
You bought a new tank from Rock Auto you ordered parts from Your Toyota dealer using your vin.
The tank in your truck may not have been the original unless you are the only owner.
The parts from Toyota don`t fit the Rock Auto tank ???
Have you contacted the manufacture of the Rock Auto Tank to see what parts fit.
Did you get the tank you ordered ?? wrong tank in correct box??
Wrong part # picked or entered into the system??
Get a tank for a carb instead of EFI??
What your doing is trying to put specific parts in a after market tank
Was there no listing on Rock Auto for the sending unit or fuel pump bracket for the tank you bought.
