High Mileage Oil question

I have a 1991 Toyota Pickup 4WD with a 22RE engine. I just got the engine rebuilt a few weeks ago. Now I am stuck with 12 quarts of 10W-30 High Mileage (for use in engines with more than 75,000 miles on them). Is it ok to use this oil in my newly rebuilt engine? or should I buy regular motor oil and use it?

ask the rebuilder, because they have to warranty it.

I'm not claiming to be an oil expert but I don't think you'll hurt your rebuilt motor with high mileage oil. The additive package in that stuff is probably made to get rid of sludge from the high mileage and seal conditioners to swell the old seals. But the hi mile stuff still has the same protection (additives) that regular oil has to prevent wear I would think. I would use it up. x2 on bobistheoilguy.com
