I'm confused. You consider a water pump replaced in '08 or about six years ago to be all "new"?

How are you determining it's overheating?

Could be a radiator issue, could be a bad radiator cap, could be.....

I got the same thing over here too. If i park too long it starts too climb higher in the temp. I was gonna put in an electric fan too keep the air flow going when i'm not moving an see if it helps.

OP, also, please do not cross post. One thread is sufficient. I will be deleting your other thread on the exact same issue.

Have you started it with the radiator cap off and then let it come up to temp. Once the thermostat opens up you should be able to see the radiator fluid start to move in the top of the radiator. How do the top and bottom hose feel. Is one cool or are both warm and or hot? Not sure what feed back you got on your other thread. Also could it be a bad sensor/gauge? Maybe wire connecting to it? In my old 85 I had something go out in my oil pressure gauge. I just bought an after market gauge and sending unit. Replaced it and was good to go. I know some people tap a spot for a actual temp sensor and new gauge. Just throwing ideas. Try and be patient. It sounds like you might have a problem that might take some time to trouble shoot.

As was said a water pump changed 6 years ago and the radiator 5 years ago and you call it new??

Been changing the coolant as you should??

Have all the coolant hoses been changed??

Do lots of mud runs radiator packed with dirt??

Simple matter to check for blockage with a infrared heat gun .

This overheats to the point of coolant being pushed out the overflow??

Rather then find out what is really causing the problem .

So much easier to just throw parts and hope you get lucky
