Replacement Torsion Bar adjustment bolts

Replacement Torsion Bar adjustment bolts
Snapped the passenger side torsion bar adjustment bolt today during removal. The driver side gave me hell so I drenched the passenger side in PB blaster and had at it with a breaker bar. Sheared right off.
Need a replacement and the internet is not turning much up. Best I can find is a single bolt, swivel anchor and nut set for $70. Seventy dollars for a bolt? I'd rather fabricate my own!
Where can new ones be purchased without crawling to a Toyota dealer? I'm definitely not the first person to snap one of these, I'm sure.

I didn't pay anywhere near that much for mine. Yes, OEM. Find the part numbers. Shop for the cheapest ones. Don't got time to do it for you at the moment.
Don't buy used. Don't try making your own. Don't know which of those is a dumber idea.
Here's a couple shortcuts to find the info you'll need.

About $15 for the whole shootin' match. http://www.toyotapartsoverstock.com/...driveLine=6747
I consider myself to be a pretty fair machinist, but I wouldn't even know where to begin to replicate such a highly stressed part. Certainly not for $15 or even $70.

I need to get some replacement torsion bar adjustment bolts for my 88 4Runner. I went to the dealer and they told me that the bolts are discontinued. I tried ordering from Villagetoyotaparts.com and they said they can't get them either.
Any other ideas? Will the bolts from a 2nd gen work?

Looks like the bolt design is the same across 1st and 2nd gen 4Runners, according to Yotamasters. Ordered two bolt/nut kits from them.

I made my own out of grade 8 all thread about ten yrs ago and am still driving on them and have done all kinds of rough four wheeling in every condition and have had no troubles at all. its the country boy way when you are hours froom any parts stores and even if you do get to town once a month they still don't have an of the parts you need in stock.so we improvise,
