'87 turbo 4runner brake system compatibility

I have an '87 4runner with a factory 22rte. The brakes on this truck have always sucked, firm pedal but a lot of force was needed to stop. Long story short, booster and master are now shot and need to be replaced but Toyota no longer makes either. The boosters are not even available through autozone, napa, or anywhere else. Will a dual diaphragm v6 booster and master cylinder from early-mid '90s work? I have also heard of people using boosters from 97ish T100s, but not sure about on turbo trucks. Rebuilding either is not an option, I am just looking for anyone with knowledge of compatibility on these older Toyotas. Thanks Rob

V6 Booster and Master Cylinder will work.

^^^ Is also considered an upgrade as well. I thought I seen some on Rockauto a while back.
