I was up pretty late working on it, so let me know if I missed something. Thanks.

Phong, awsome job

I am a little confused where you speak about "(NO ABS, ABS, and ABS+LOCKER)" Were you in the ABS+LOCKER catagory and what is the system that Toyota used to classify which rigs got which harness.

Thanks!!

Since I didn't have the locker, I was in the ABS category. Toyota wired those harnesses correctly and accordingly. If they had given me the ABS+LOCKER harness, it would have been a LOT easier (i.e. completely plug-n-play). You probably have the ABS harness as well.

No, but you should worry a little about the hazing.

Don't let the testosterone fire up too much when you hit that little orange button.

I always feel like a total dufus on this forum since I always seem to know less than anyone else around here 'bout my Runner. My daily driver is actually a VW GOlf:eek:

But my dad has a '99 Limited soon to be mine and I was wondering if I have the e locker that everyone seems to want.

Would this be the button to the left of the wheel that says RR diff lock or something like that?

The housing modifications are similar, but the electrical will be a little more involved since you won't be prewired like me. You will find my wiring diagrams very helpful. Refer to the links at the bottom of my write-up to see how others have retrofit them into different generations.
