Average Time Needed to Swap Engine

I did some searching and couldn't find an aswer, so I'll ask.

I'm a moderate mechanic and I've swapped out a 6.9 and 7.3 liter diesel in a 1990 F350 with a decent amount of succes. Took about 2 weekends total, but there were some additional parts that I had to monkey with.

I need to replace my worn 22RE in my 1994 and I would like to know how long you think it would take to remove the engine and replace with a new full reman engine. Looks pretty simple but being a Toyota, I haven't had to work on this truck much.

Thoughts?

Thanks

About as long as it took to do the 7.3 or twice as long!!

You could not find a answer because there is not one.

Perhaps find a flat rate book might give you a idea.

Only because it is all the same but different.

rounded off hardware

seized bolts .

the arriving of Mr Murphy and his seven daughters The daughters are great at causing distractions .

One really never knows till the truck is driven out of the garage.

You mean this did not show up in the search...?

If you've done it before, then a couple of long days.

If you've never done it before, then anywhere from a couple of days to a few weeks...depending on any problems.
