Hello all. Pretty green here.

I tried to roll my rear window up the other day in my 97 4Runner and the driver side of the window just fell.

I have taken apart the door and discovered the piece(a bushing i think) has been worn down and cracked. I have attached a photo of the piece im taling about. I cant find a store in the city that carries this part. Is my only option to go to a scrap yard?

I think a Yard is your best bet .

I am only guessing but I bet you would need to buy the complete regulator from Toyota.

Looks like that was not turning but sliding till it broke.

 

Thanks for the information. Yeah I totally agree that it was just sliding and now rolling. I might jade to replace the entire track also because it is covered in rust.
