22RE no hot start

Well, sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. Circuit opening relay, fuel pressure, coolant temp sensor and tune up stuff all seem to be OK. It will always push start. Starter seems to be cranking fine.

How are your grounds? I had the same issue. Poor grounding = fuel injectors could not fire til alternator was spinning.

I reached under manifold to find the ground coming from fuel injector wiring harness. It was just dangling there, not connected at all.

Thanks much for the tip. Your explanation really sealed it for me. It seemed to be injector related all along.

Here's a link to my paypal for a donation:

Just kidding

In addition to the issue I mentioned, I once had the bolt holding the fuel injector ground just fall out while at work. Fortunately finding a bolt on the ground clued me in to the problem!
