Where to find: MANUAL rear window regulator 1st gen 4Runner???

I'm more of a manual window kind of guy. Swapping out my door hardware will be easy enough, but as I look around for a manual window regulator for the rear window in the tailgate of my '85 I'm coming up completely empty handed.

I would like something simple, like on a mid-80's K5 Blazer I grew up with. HERE IS THE LMC TRUCK catalog page where they have a manual rear window regulator for the K5 just as an example. I want something similar for my 4Runner.

I thought somewhere in the wide world of Toyota 4Runners there would be a stock manual window option, or someone who made an aftermarket kit. But my googles are dispelling my theory - has anyone come across something like this?

I don't think there ever was that option.
A window crank on the outside of the door would look pretty odd and wouldn't be very secure.

Good luck.

No never was a manual option it would never work as the window is between the motor and the sheet metal.

If your good find a complete hatch with a manual window and install the complete package.
