Sticking gas pedal...

My brother drives a 93 single cab 2wd manual truck. I was driving it the other day and i noticed that when i started the car and then went to drive the gas pedal was stuck down a little. i could pretty much start driving by just letting out the clutch it was giving it enough gas. It was worst when starting the car, but occurred slightly at stops such as traffic lights. If i would just push in the pedal it would go back to normal. I was wondering if this is a problem he should worry about or ignore. Im just wondering if anyone knows what would be involved with fixing this. thanks -aaron

It could be that the throttle body is sticking and needs cleaning. Simple to do. Check the link below:

Sounds like what happened to me. A thorough cleaning of the throttle body cleared the problem up.
