3vze Valve lash

Hi I have a 94 3vze i was wondering if you could set valve lash with the heads off the engine. and if so do i have to recheck valve lash after i remove the cam to put the heads on then reinstall the cam.

When heads are on the bench put cam in just like it was in the truck to set valve lash. It will be the same when you put heads back on motor.

On a lot of engines you should do the valve lash on the motor, but that it because you set it hot. The 3VZE is set cold, so you are good to go.
