Some Pictures from Gray Rock Park in Alabama

This is my friend Josh's Cruiser on 38.5's.

This was a dump truck with some trailor tires or something.

My Friends Cruiser Flexing

This thing had a 502 in it and was plain ol mean. I have a video of it but dont know where to host it.

We traveled to Gray Rock with 2 f250's trailoring the rigs. Now one f250 had a chip and the other didnt and wow what a difference.

Sucks waiting on trails for broken down Jeeps .

We actually had 2 jeeps in our group, which did well.

A Blazer I saw at Cracker Barrel

This was the part of the day that sucked. His tire pressure was WAY to low like 5psi so it curled under. Next thing Josh said is bead locks.

The other toyota that came with us on 36's.

The angle of the axle and related hardware on the pic of the Landcruiser with a broken bead just looks WRONG....

That looks like fun! I gotta ask though, is your friends LC a salvage? I can imagine doing that to anything else

Here's some more pictures. The landcruiser is a 1994 and started out as his moms suv and he got it handed it down to him with like 180k miles on it. The crusier was never wrecke but did get a nice rattle can paintjob He does have couple projects, like the 240sx with 1jz thats running, his f250 and the cruiser.

This is the shop that he gets to work out of

One of the trails

Toy truck that was with us.

And to all you non-offroaders. Here is the 240 and 1jzgte which is actually finished now but I need to get some updated pictures.

Well we got it LHD but had 2 front clips and made it RHD with a CA18det on 15psi of boost using a t61. That thing was crazy fast, but it blew and instead of rebuilding a weaker motor he went out and bought a 1jzgte. Now as the car sists we moved it back to LHD.

Those look like some nasty trails. Does it cost to wheel there?

I didn't bring mine because I doubt I could make it 10 feet in most of those trails. And it was like $30 for 2 people to go wheeling.

Thats a pretty mean lookin' LC...although whats goin on with those fenders? Did he start to rub and figured the only tool he had was a sawzall and a beer or what?

Looks good either way though, wish my rig wasn't so puny...there is no WAY I could make it up those trails...some day my friends, some day!

And that old Chevy lookin thing with the 502 in it...man, that thing must rule off-road, too bad it will break down before I even get mud tires on my rig!!

Hmmm.....1JZ eh? Very good decision, I'm surprised you didn't go the typical sr20 route. Was it a pretty easy swap?

Ya the swap was relatively easy with the 1jz except a couple problems with the crossmember. It was easier with the CA as it was just a drop in. At first when looking at motors it was going to be CA18det, sr20det, or the 1jz if one was available. There was no 1jz's so instead of buying a sr20det for $3k because all the ricer boys like them he bought the ca18 for like $1.7k which was a much better deal. As for how he has all these toys is that he works pretty hard.
