Need chose between this two pickup first 1988 pick up extra cab 22re,4x4 original paint, engine was rebuild completly, all truck in one piece A/c, good trany, tranfer etc etc all work fine

Second its 1993 pick up 1/2cab oringinal paint, 22re engine, 4x4, like at first truck conditions

I ask because i never have toyota pickup but i listened are amazing and with 22re better, and also listened that old pickup generations are better than news

 

Either one , they both sound decent, 2 different body styles depends on which you prefer, if I had to choose one it would be the 93.

 

I would chose the 88 just because of the extra cab, I wish my 89 had the extra cab.

 

After owning an 87' 4runner and a 92' pickup, get the 93' for sure, hands down. The interior on the 80's models frankly sucks. I keep telling myself i'll get over how poorly the controls are set up, but it's been 3 years and I still hate it. Plus, with the 93 you get cupholders!

 

if they were both xtra cab the 93 would have more room.

@ inferno my fully equiped 88 xtra cab has a nicer interior than the 3rd gen pu. it has the 4runner front seats and all the bells and whistles etc.

i would choose an 88 xtra cab over a std cab 93.
