Concerning the Stealer, what do you think I should do.
Hey guys
I had a post earlier about my axle seals being blown out, well it was covered by the Toyota certified warrenty with my $50 deductable.
When they were inspecting the truck they said that my inner cv boots were leaking (I didn't think that they were..) Anyways they said that they will also cover that under the warrenty. On the Invoice it stated that my outer and inner cv boots were leaking and they replaced all the boots on both sides. I crawled under my truck last night and the inner cv boots are new, but the outer cv boots are still the origional boots. I don't think that anything was leaking in the first place, but I figured that if it was covered under the warrenty, then why the hell not. Should I call the Dealer and ask them why they have on the invoice that all were replace when in actually only the inner boots were replaced??
I just think that they are trying to rip off Toyota and charge them for things that they didn't actually install.. What do you think?

I would definitly go back and ask them what's up?
Regarless if they needed replacing or not, just mention the fact it says they were, but when you checked they were not. Then ask them if this was an oversight or something?
Maybe they forgot or came to the conclusion that it didn't need to be done but forgot to document it that way.
At least you will know for sure ...

They should only invoice for the work completed. They need to replace all the boots or redo the invoice.
Don't take crap from the dealer. If they won't do either, ask them if it is legal to invoice for work not completed
