Final check list, am I missing anything?

Ok if you guys have read my last couple of thread you know that I have somethings to fix on my runner. Im just going to go through what I have and what im fixing and making sure I didnt miss anything, ALWAYS helps to get an outside look.

Ok so the runner is leaking oil and the clutch is going out something fierce haha, For the oil leak I have already bought:
full front end gasket kit,
Oil Pump Cover
Timing Cover
Timing Cover Seal
Water Pump Mounting
Valve cover gasket
Timing chain
upper and lower gears
tensioner
water pump
and RVT for when I drop and clean my oil pan.

Then im going to change out my clutch, the items im going to buy are:
Marlin Crawler HD clutch
Flywheel from marlin crawler
master and slave cylinder from marlin crawler
rear main seal
Diff oil and gear oil for the tranny ( full replacements of oils )

Is that all I should do while she is under the knife?

and as far as diff and gear oil what should I use?

Im wanting to make sure this is dont correctly the first time, dont want to tear back into the places I just had open to fix something else...

Is $40 buck a day good to use a lift? Or should I go old school and put the runner on stands and save the money?

The way I see it is the stand would be helpful from the standpoint of easy access to the belly but stands would be useful for using a jack on the tranny right?

If you think you can do all that in a few days, sure why not. Though I've done all my repairs without a lift or jack stands (I don't have a garage yet). These are 4x4's, they have great ground clearance. Really up to you.

Thanks for the reply, I see your point about them being 4x4's and I think ill just go that route, same myself the 40-120 bucks, I currently dont have a garage aswell, but I got a couple of people that would let me use their garage for free.

I did my clutch in my back yard in the dirt and grass. Once the tranny is out you can literally sit cross legged under the truck, It's not comfortable by any means but im 6'3 and i fit in there no problem.

I'd change the trans input shaft seal also.

The rear main seal is like it sounds, it's on the back of the crank shaft on the engine. Behind the flywheel.
The trans input seal is what seals the front of your transmission

Ive ran into a problem, the release bearing (next to the fork) is different than the one I got in my marlin crawler kit... the bearing I took out has four metal "clips" that are bent over the housing, I dont know how to change them out because its different than I have seen, any ideas?

The first 3 are of the old bearing and the housing, and the last two are of the new bearing, do I need a different and new housing?

That's odd i never knew you could disassemble a throw out bearing. When I got my clutch kit it came with one like in your 1st pics.
Have you called marlin about it?

Marlin is closed haha, but apparently there are two different types of throw out bearings, one complete one like my first pictures and one thats a hub and the bearing and two clips... so confusing, where did you get your thowout from?

I bought a clutch kit from a local drivetrain place. Marlin was out of stock when I was doing my swap and I didn't wait for one.
