Ok so I am putting a 5mge in my 1991 4runner with an auto trans. I know there are better engine choices but this is what I am sticking with. My question is what flex plate and torque converter to use to have it work with my A340H auto trans I already have the correct bell housing? Anyone done this with a 22re/7mge auto and ran into any issues? Will the 5mge flex plate and TC hold up? Any help would be great!

 

When I had my 5M-GE manual in my 86 pickup I used the 5M flywheel and clutch with my W56 transmission and it worked flawlessly. I don't see why the 5M flex plate and torque converter would not give you the same results.
