Question Unlocked IFS axle shafts turning, '91 Toyota

I recently used a 1 1/2" ball joint spacer lift on a 1991 Toyota 4x4 pickup, torsion bar suspension, with no ADD. Lifted 1/2" more with torsions. Installed diff drop kit. I did not feel any bind at full droop, wheels turned full left and right. A couple weeks later, I notice one axle shaft spins backwards and the other forwards, in 2WD, unlocked. In 4WD, I hear binding at full steering lock, static ride height. I cannot keep axle shaft from spinning (in hand test). I lowered torsions back down, still the same problem. Checked to see if shaft is not inserted in diff, it appears o.k. CV boots not torn, but freeway speeds on spinning axles are whipping out grease (one side). Maybe I did not raise vehicle enough to require a diff drop? Could manual axle lock be bad on one side? Blogs explain issues related to axles remaining locked, even when disconnected, not the other way around. Thanks, GB
