There is strange sound coming from the fuse box area of the pass. side of my 85 4runner, down near the kick panel. Its like that ticking sound the blinkers make, only a little slower but keeps repeating itself when the motor is running. Any ideas on what it is? Im sure it has to be fuse related, but what should i start checking?

Well do you have gauges is your Voltmeter doing anything??

Sounds like you have a poor connection causing a coil to be dropping out and pulling in.Is there anything else not working??

Could be a bad ground could be the relay loose in the socket

look for arc marks and burnt connections

Feel for a hot relay but don`t burn your fingers

Then it might not be any thing electrical at all just a odd vibration .
