1984 diesel 2.4 manual transmission fluid

Searched but maybe I didn't use the right keywords. I have a Isuzu Rodeo with a 1984 Toyota diesel 2.4 mated to a Toyota 5 speed and transfer case. Could anyone tell me what the name of the transmission is, transfer case and what kind of fluid/oil they use? I assume a sort of gear oil and how much the transmission holds and how much the xfer case holds? Thanks guys!

Another thing, the doohickey mabob that goes from the alternator/vacuum pump to the block is leaking oil. What is that and what should I do to fix it?

Hello, im not sure if people can direct you in the proper manner cause they dont know what trans and what transfer case you have. I think you would be safe on running redline mt90 gear oil in both trans and transfer . I think if you buy 6 quarts you would be ok but you might want to buy 7 just in case . its hard to tell what trans you have and transfer case without seeing pics or knowing what they came out of

I figured its what ever trans often was attatched to a 4cyl diesel toyota 1984... I assume there must be only one option...

its probably a G52 Transmission with a Gear Drive RF1A transfer case.

in that case you could use redline mt90 gear oil in both trans and transfer
