webber carb install32/36 no start now

so I have an 82 pickup with a 22r in it the stock carb kept messing up so I took it off took all the emission crap off put the webber 32/36 on for the life of me I cant get it to run the base gaskets seem to get wet with fuel there right from webber / redline ??????? will run if I put fuel in the bowl then die theres fuel there just don't seem to be filling the carb the float checked out good any ideas ???

my 32/36 runs fine w/o a fpr, but when i installed it i didn't have one... i do plan on added one eventually, but for now it's fine.
it will run even if its got monster vac leaks, is your pump working?

truck ran before I took the old carb off I guess ill check the floats again

pretty sure they like 3-5 psi. I thought it was kinda a mandatory thing.
I could be wrong....and have been before..lol.

well just took my new carb apart to find out the effing float was upside down flipped it adjusted it and she fired up just need to adjust it now thanks for everyones help
