My 94 forced induction options.

Okay guys, My rig is way past due for a rebuild,(just more of a reason to build what i want) and Ive been looking at LC engineering page dreaming about the turbo or supercharged kits.. Has anyone bought one? Which is better? Thoughts?or any other parts I may consider

You would be way better off with a 3.4 swap. Ideal canidate.

Way more relaible.

Honestly ive owned a few 3.4's and im not the biggest fan. Ive had terrible luck with them

Well spend 8k and build a super duper turbo 22re that makes 250 hp.

You can make ash trays from melted pistons.

All Im saying is the $/hp ratio on a 22r is not cost effective.

Hell toss an ls1 in.

I know and trust me id love a ls swap but keeping the 4wd would be interesting

Couldn't tell you exact numbers but around 200hp, I go up %4 grades all the time. This is all hand built by me and tuned.

Speaking of tune, how many lbs are you running? 300cc injectors? And what bottom end?

12.5lbs, stock 22RE bottom end, 9.4:1 CR 330cc injectors

Did the stock Ecu learn the turbo set up or did you have any problems with mixture ratio?

Not running a stock ECU at all, I use a Microsquirt standalone.
