idle air control valve question??????

I have a 91 toyota pickup 2wd, 22re, standard tranny. I had the iac off the other day to clean and test it my question is should you be able to blow thru both of the nozzles(hose fittings) on it? Mine I can only blow thru one fitting and I tried to even use an air hose on the other but nothing will go thru it so I didn't know if this was the way it was suppose to be or if its stopped up. I aint real up on the function of the iac but isn't coolant suppose to flow thru it? Thanks for any help.

somebody correct me if i'm wrong here :-0 your '91 did not come from the factory with the piece that bigbluepile shows in the pic, so someone must have swapped something out.

you should have the superior straight plenum/throttle body combo, that uses a mechanical system, here are the differences:

Yes, it is.

Do you guys see how I did that? It's called answering a specific question specifically.

Better luck next time!
