I picked up (cheap) an 1987 4runner with a busted rear window. Best I can tell the busted window had the non-bronze tint and I know it has defrost and rear wiper. Checking out the junkyard websites (specifically car-part) they list 4 options:

• Bronze tint, Wiper
• Bronze tint, No Wiper
• Non Bronze, Wiper
• Non Bronze, No Wiper

This is confusing. Did toyota change the glass due to the presence of the wiper AND every 1987 4runner came with rear defrost OR does "wiper" = "defrost" and this is a typo.

Anyone have any ideas?

Oh, if anyone reads this and has a non-bronze rear window with defrost/wiper in Chicago metro, northern Indiana, Michigan, or NW Ohio I need one . I'll come pick it up.
