Arrow Oil Pressure? 2.4re

Hi, I'm new here and need to learn a few things about my new to me truck.
94 4x4 Reg cab with 22re & man trans. It seems to idle low once warmed up like 500-600 rpm's and the oil pressure drop way down at that time (almost all the way to the left but not quite all the way).
When I drive it the pressure goes up to the middle of the gauge. just wanting to make sure that's ok/normal.

Just got the truck it's been sitting for a while, got it running and still in progress, replacing tank & fuel filter today, fuel pump is new. oil & filter are new, rad, just flushed out. Thanks in advance...

get a timing light with a tach on it, set everything per factory spec.

Yes. It's normal. I can't remember the exact settings right off, but it should idle high until warm, and then drop down. 1500rpm and 700rpm, maybe. There should be a label under the hood that tells you the appropriate setting. Your oil pressure is typically going to be lower at a lower idle. Keep in mind that the dash gauges aren't particularly precise. You'll have to test it to know for sure.

Thanks, it idles about 1400 at cold start and 500 when warmed up, sticker under hood says 750-2wd 8504wd. That's why I was wondering.

Yeah, the idle is real low. Shocked me at first. I'd rather it idle closer to 1k, but don't know a way to make it do that without bringing the cold idle up really high. Some of these other smarter guys may know a way to make it happen.
