Can I fit in a 1st gen cabin

I'm in love with the look of the 1st generation Hilux. My question is as a 6'5" guy can I fit into the cabin comfortably? Thanks.

Yeah if its a auto
Maybe maybe not if its a stick (knees might bang into the steering wheel /tcase shifter )

I'm 6'1" and I fit comfortably in my 83. Obviously the pedals are a little bit closer than I would like, but it doesn't affect me much at all. I'm currently restoring my truck and I am thinking of getting some seats that sit slightly lower and can slide back a bit further - probably adjustable Recaro seats or some other kind of aftermarket seat. I also saw on here where a guy actually lowered the floor pan a few inches to give him more head room, but head room isn't much of a problem at all for me. I'd recommend climbing into one to see if the shoe fits.

My 84 has had a seat swap there's a world of difference between my 84 and my dads 87 or even my moms 88 runner with simalar seats. Im comfortable in mine not so much tho in there's.
I have no idea what mine came outta but I know there outta a pickup and not a suv cause they got the rubber peice on the back that keeps you from busting out the window

I had the bench seat in my 81. Not a good seat at all, very uncomfortable with springs poking me in the back all the time The ride height was ok for me at 5'10"

So, when we decided to retire my wife's 87 Camry to the junk yard, I took the front seats out. With some mods to the frame, mounted them and really like the ride height now. They set closer to the floor, have more room to the pedals and head room, steering wheel angle. Any seat change will make driving more enjoyable than stock seats, with more support, lumbar adjust, head rest, you know, all the good stuff.

Look up some threads on seat replacement for ideas
