Painting leaf springs.

Painting leaf springs.

should i paint my leaf springs? if i do should i put some type any thing between the leafs to help them slip more?

I paint mine. I've never had any trouble at all. I just get in there with a black rattle can, and sometimes a wire bore brush from a pistol cleaning kit to knock the beard off if there is one.

I always figured any movement that it needs, it will create it's own. I'm assuming my half ton trucks suspension movement is stronger than a light coat of spray paint.
