Aux block oil pressure fitting size

I'm needing the oil pressure fitting size that's beside the sending unit on the block. Can't find it- anyone know off-hand?

Found my answer here. And thus documented here for future searchers:

"If it is like the 5VZ engine, that plug should be a British Standard Pipe Thread, but a 3/8" NPT will fit into it and work fine. That is what I use all the time. There is a very slight difference between BSPT and NPT, but it takes like about 10 turns before it is a real issue and you should not be anywhere near there.

Here is a little trick if it is kind of tight, put the fitting on an ice cube for a couple of minutes and it should go in much easier.

If you want a real BSPT check at one of the larger NAPA stores, they sometimes have that stuff in stock.

Gadget"

This would be useful for anyone wanting to hook up another pressure gauge, oil temp, turbo oil feed- anything that needs oil pressure.
