Fake Car Alarm

I am looking for the best looking fake car alarm, anyone know of any good ones?
Theft isn't a high problem here, but some stickers and a blinking light on the dash would prevent the punk kids around here from trying to hop into my truck when there are so many here without anything at all. Why take the chance.

I know it won't stop someone that really wants my truck, I am just looking for something that looks great and will cause little punks to keep walking.
I don't want an actual alarm because I hate that "beep beep" all the time and accidently setting it off. Pain in the arse it is.

Search ebay, there's some that you hook up so they only flash when the key isn't in the on position. I had one of these for awhile.

Or you could do something like this:

Kinda ghetto, but it would work.

I've got a simple Viper Keyless entry system. It was about $140 installed. It has a bright blinking LED on the dash and an automatic ignition kill switch when the car is locked (no beeps).

The fake alarm won't do much.

I'm not going to go into detail because this is a public forum but trust me - a fake alarm will not stop anyone who has the slightest bit of experience breaking into vehicles. There is a simple tool that they use to check for vibration sensitive alarms.

A real alarm may be a pain in the neck but the peace of mind you gain from it is well worth the hassle. As you said yourself, "why take the chance?"
