I have an '83 4wd pickup longbed.
I don't want bigger tires, I love the stock height.
What do I need to upgrade in order to laugh at big pot holes at fast speeds?

I put a new set of rough country shocks on and they did nothing. It feels like the tires are going to come through the floor every time I hit a pothole.

 

It's a straight axle it's going to be rough.

 

are they the origional springs?
