using Xtracab rock sliders on a regular cab

Anybody ever do this? I bought a set of sliders for my 88 xtra cab awhile ago and never put them on. Now the truck is up for sale and I want to use them for my 86 regular cab. They go almost exactly from the beginning of the front fender well to the beginning of the rear. I was just curious if i'd have to worry about the tires rubbing. I don t plan on going larger then 31's but if the front or rear axles wrap it looks like they may collide.

I think the extra length looks better then the sliders of my 85 regular cab. They go all under the cab and the bumpout fits on the bed perfect

how long are they? trail-gears are 58" for single cabs and 4Runners. But when I bought stubb welding ones they were 62" and looked wayyy better than the cheap trail-gear ones

If you feel they are to long it should not be all that hard to shorten them a little.Just take some time to make it pretty .

How close are they to the tire??
